Description
Modern necklace composed of antique and ancient glass and semiprecious stone beads including 1st century eye beads from the Near Eastern provinces of Rome, together with late Byzantine and Early Islamic beads, all interspaced with 14k gold plated round spacers, the piece finished with modern 14k gold plated Indian style granulated beads.

Provenance: From the Private Collection of Hillel and Johanna Norry, Atlanta, Georgia.

Approximate dimensions: l. 20.25", round carnelian beads 17mm, black glass with white draping 17.5mm, Provincial Roman carnelian disks 16.15mm.
