Description
Carl Pott (German, 1906-1985 for C. Hugo Pott (German, founded 1907). Mid-Century Modern 90 piece set of number 87/787 (pattern introduced 1959 / 1960) sterling silver flatware comprising, 10 forks (7.75"), 12 forks (6.5"), 12 spoons (7.75"), 12 spoons (6.75"), 9 spoons (5.75"), 10 spoons (5"), 12 hollow handled knives with stainless steel blades (7.75"), 9 hollow handled fish knives with stainless steel blades (7.75"), 1 table / serving spoon (9"), 1 serving fork (9"), 1 ladle (9.5"), and 1 ladle (7.5"), all marked appropriately.
Note: The design was awarded the Golden Medal at the XII Triennale, Milan, Italy in 1960, and exhibited in Gothenburg, Germany, 1964.
