Description
Chinese, circa 1745. Pair of Qianlong era Dutch market armorial porcelain soup plates or bowls, each having a gilt scroll shell decorated lip encircling the arms of Theodorus and Adriaan van Reverhorst encircled by the arms of their great grandparents, Schrevelius, van Peenen, van Groenendyk, De Vroede, De Bruyn, Vereyck, De Winter, and van Reverhorst, both with H. Moog, Atlanta, GA labels to the back.

Firing and glaze imperfections, some utensil marks, enamel and gilt loss, one with possible restoration to the underside, internal crack to underside of one bowl, no apparent chips, other cracks, or other restorations when examined under ultraviolet light.
