Following volumes do not contain ads at the back: vol4, vol5, vol8, vol10, vol11, vol13, vol14, vol16. Vol 17 has only one page of ads at the back. Lett's Diaries for 1850 not present in vol8; Illustration pages have some toning and foxing as is common for that type of paper. Pages themselves have some tearing and wear from use but books are mostly in good to very good condition. Very light scuffing on custom case. Light repair evident on some volumes, overall pages look clean.
