Chinese Export Famille Rose and gilt bowl, late 18th to early 19th century, the interior having a Famille Rose floral spray and gilt rim, the exterior having Rococo reserves depicting families enjoying outdoor pursuits, interspaced with floral cartouches and puce landscape cartouches, all on a foliate gilt ground, apparently unmarked.

Approximate dimensions: h. 4.5", dia. 10.5".

Examined under blacklight. Scattered glaze and manufacturing imperfections. No chips, hairlines, or losses, possible inpainting in the yellow areas of the cartouche with seven figures and two rams.
